Okay Everyone,
 I know I have been away from The Sorum Forum for awhile now.
 I promise I will get back to you all soon.
 Had a small break from writing the album last week.
 Slash took his son Cash to Disney World for his B-Day.
So I took a trip to Lake Tahoe in the mountains of California and Nevada. Did some rock climbing, hiking , waterskiing, rented a sailboat, Went to a Ben Harper concert and all around had a great time. Back to work this week. Want to get this album done and get back on tour to rock for all you beautiful people.

I think it's great that he keeps his blog updated and gives us these snipets of info. Nice to see he's having a good time and also the important thing is he says he wants the album done to get back on tour, so that's always a good thing?

Taking his baby son to Disneyworld was a really sweet thing to do especially when you figure how much of a hassle for him it probably was. You know that when he was there a lot of people probably recognized him and approached him when he didn't really want to be recognized and approached. Matt is really cool also to give his fans regular updates!

I think slash is a pretty normal guy, so I think he's just doing what any other father would do..

what matt failed to inform on that blog is that he is doing all those things (and more) with a dietician or however you spell it! billy morrison from camp freddy talks about how weird it is on camp freddy radio all the time


and the dietrician is a fox too... and they live together until matt has reached his goals.... the rockstars have it all, but people to tell them what to eat?!

haha you know what is funny?  I bet that there were a few parents there that were old GNR fans and approached him.  Some of those parents probably got a greater thrill from that than their kids had their entire trip there.

I agree . It wouldn't be the kids recognizing him, but the parents probably flocked.  Hair like that just can't be ignored haha

People have told me that Disneyland is quite a dirty place. Apparently on one occasion they found a six foot mouse in one of the kitchens.

Well Matt said that it was Disney World. Maybe Disney World is cleaner then Disneyland. I live in California and have been to Disneyland more times then I can count. While Disneyland has gone down hill in the last 10 years I wouldn't really call it dirty, it's just not as well kept as it use to be.

Hey Everyone,

 Crazy busy now with The
Band. Rehearsing 5 days a week. Writing, writing, writing.
 Also doing Jay Leno this thursday the 5th of October with Camp Freddy.
 Have special guests Rick Neilson from Cheap Trick as well as Slash on guitars.
 Also Scott Weiland will be
 Singing lead on this one.
We are performing Surrender which will appear in the new film
Employee of the Month
Which comes out Oct. 6
 The band on Leno will also
Include core Freddy members Donovan Leitch,
Billy Morrison and Chris Chaney.
 Hope you all tune in.
The VR stuff is coming along. Rick Rubin came down yesterday to listen to some of our new material.
 Also starting talks about our new album cycle.
New website design, photos, new merchandise
 Etc..
So a lot of new things in the works.
 Also some possible merch for Christmas.
So look for that as well.
I'll keep you posted on where to find it.
