maybe axl meant merck when he said "last i knew, you weren`t in the band" and izzy got it wrong hihi

seriously, there`s no tension between axl and izzy and that?s the most important thing

Yeah, if there was, Izzy wouldn't have played so many shows after this one.  He would just have left.

i don`t know if there`s more of this available at the moment....

now i understand why borntodie doesn`t give a ahit about audio files.... ok

you see izzy and axl are standing right next to each other when axl gets told to "leave the stage"....  axl knows izzy`s voice for like 40 years now by the way.....  i highly doubt he`d confuse merck`s and izzy`s voice...

It sure is hard to imagine Izzy sticking around if there was trouble.

Dude, where did you get that LA Weekly quote at the bottom of your profile? Is there an article online?

Thanks for the links btw. I just got the whole show. It has been burned to CD for my listening pleasure on the way to work tomorrow!

Thanks again!

Maybe you guys can clear something up for me?

What we are hearing is truly how Axl is singing, and what the audience hears is the mix?

This is what Axl hears in his ears. Thats why his voice is so much louder than everything else. This is not a soundboard or what the audience is hearing.

Just about every rock singer is using mixes now....it brings a more powerful sound and can help you out a little when your voice is in bad shape so the show won't suffer as much.....Scott Wyland does it as well...

Things happen way better when the crowd is more a basic Rock crowd like Rock in Rio or Rock am Ring, more Rock and less Metal. generally Metal festivals have more extreme crowds

O RLY. I don't know what it's like France, who knows, maybe the metal fans over there act really horribly, but at least in my country they're always the ones who are on their best behavior, and truly there for the music. Take for example Tuska Open Air, Finland's biggest metal festival. During eight years of existence, never had any troubles; no fights or any other crimes committed whatsoever. It's the cleanest festival in the country, whereas the more generic festivals (dedicated to pop and rock music) always create some work for the police.

[Sorry for the off-topic, I try to ignore that guy nine out of ten times, but I guess this was number ten hihi]

This is a direct feed from Axl - before any of the sound is mixed, processed or whatever. This is what is *really* coming out of throat.

It sorta is....it's really not that black and white.....way too much for me to write exactly what is going on there....it also depends on the song they're playing.....
