I would expect a press release today, with more dates:? so far Reno, Sacramento, and San Diego? Wink

That's the vibe I am getting.

It's great too see more dates added to the tour.  Can't wait for them to work their way back east.

Minneapolisnewsman:

How do you know there will be a press release today?

The key word in that sentence was "expect."   yes

If anyone had their heads screwed on straight at the label and Sanctuary, they would get a phenomenal website put together with: live footage from Europe, the tour dates with links to "buy tickets," and links to t-shirts and paraphanalia.  I would include the link in a press release, and somehow distribute or advertise for it at Spencers.  I am somewhat shocked that they have no capitalized more upon the incredible shows in Europe.  The only thing holding them back, it seems, is the past reputation of GNR.  I think the new-lineup, if promoted with proof (live footage) would blow-up quicker here in the U.S. than they realize.  There seems to be a longing for nut-swinging rock stars in the U.S.   With that said, I would imagine there has to be some sort of strategy to create a buzz nationally before more dates are announced!  Still scratching my head at times with promotion.  It's one thing to oversaturate, but it's quite another to not promote at all.  We'll see what is in store, I think, in the next few day's.

LMAO!!!  Greatest Hits, is climbing the charts...so someone must be paying attention!  In all honesty though, if they can make a spectacle of the launch of a new website, it would be the bomb.

Stop panicking about Arco being too big.  It's the smallest arena of all the NBA arenas, and consider the fact that no one sits BEHIND the stage and to the sides, it drastically reduces the seating capacity to 12,000-13,000.

As Conan would say, "Keep cool my babies!"

There also, are not many big names that play Sacramento regularly.  This is a chance, to catch a city hungry for a large rock show.  Here is an article about that from last year.

I can't understand why it seems like no one on this board has any faith in this band.

It's called being realistic and not living in a dream world.

Having any amount of faith in this band is "living in a dream world"? I wasn't aware. Thanks for the update.

It's exactly like Euro.  Oh well as long as he has the same success as he did in Europe I don't mind.

I can't wait until we see the tour shirts, then we might know for sure.

Were there shirts for the Euro tour with dates on the back or something like that?

Rolling these dates out, slowly is smart.  It keeps the stories coming in the press.  I think deals are done at many venues.
