Hey, thanks so much for the warm reception, I'm really happy about that! Smiley

And yes, meeting GNR members coincidentally twice was too cool...! I met Slash after a Snakepit gig here in Aarhus in 2000, but I was so starstruck that I don't think I uttered a proper word at all. I did get his autograph, though... I was wearing my Kill Your Idols shirt, which, thinking about it, isn't so much a shirt that shouts "I'M A SLASH FAN"... I wonder why I did that... Tongue

Oh yeah, and after the Paris show, Ron was outside with a bodyguard and fans were all around him, and I went up there, but Ron looked so knackered and sweaty, and he didn't stay for long... But again - consider the fan dedication when the first thing you do after a gig is to run outside to say hi! Smiley

Anyhow, xBrownstonex asked for more pictures, so I compiled this little set of my more paparazzi-style shots... And Ron noticing us and his first pose! I hope you'll like them for what they are... You might see why I didn't post these the first time around...? ok

but that is super cool. ron seemingly gets sounder with each passing story and those photo's on his at the airport gate are sweet.

Great story and pics.

I've got to say that I am a big supporter of Ron.  So down to earth, just the opposite of the freak he replaced (and I mean "freak" in both a positive and negative way).  While Bucket is surely a superior player, I like prefer Ron in this band because he's a cool, accessible guy that you can relate to.

This is so funny, I saw the picture on mygnr and it reminded me of something ... This is also my first post here, even though I've been around for a while...

But a long time ago i posted this at mygnr - guess we where on the same plane home - I was the girl crying Roll Eyes

Well, I was sitting in Olso Airport eating a baguette with ham and cheese, when Stinson suddenly walks down the hall. At first I wasn't sure if it was him, and i didn't see where he went. Shortley after this big black guy follows - think he is some sort of stage crew - I saw him at Roskilde and Spektrum, so I knew the band had to be there.

So, I send my boyfriend out to buy som liquor for our last money, and I went to look for then - guess what! I did find them!!

At first I saw Stinson - I didn't really know what to do, and some guys - staff I guess - laughed at me - guess I looked totally out af it - so I tryed to get a hold to myself, and asked "Are you mr. Stinson?" He smiled and took my hand, saing yes.





Some of the other guys around saw my camera and asked if they should take a picture - then in the middle I saw Ron - and went "Oh, thats Bumblefoot", he laughed and waved at me. He was so nice, let me play his guitar - well, at least i tried to, but my fingers wasn?t really listening - but he was cool. Then he played Rocket Queen for me - by my request.








I asked him for the rest of the band, and he said that Axl, Dizzy and Chris already was in Athen, but Finck and Fortus was sitting right behind me - so I had to meet them too. Again the people who was there, asked if they should take som pictures so...





Guess I talked with them for 5-10 minutes, and they were all very cool - I know i wasn't? Roll Eyes

Even though my fligth landed 4 hours ago - I'm still flying

- by the way - I have now returned to earth again - but it took a while
