GNR Promotion for US Tour

I was at lunch today in SD and the restaurant had one of those Jack FM stations playing and there was a 1 1/2 minute promo pushing the GNR show in San Diego...What I thought was interesting was that they were pushing the tour as the "Chinese Democracy" world tour...I know there is speculation on this board that the tour is just a GNR tour and is basically an AFD rehash a la 2002 but this should confirm that this tour has been labeled as the "Chinese Democracy" World Tour so I am sort of getting a warm and fuzzy that the album will drop during this leg but WTF I know nothing....Anyways, I got 12th row for the show in SD thanks to the Pre-Sale...Thanks so much Mysteron and whoever gets the presale together.....See you all in SF on the 21st and SD in October....

I believe when I saw them in 2002 it was also called the Chinese Democracy tour on the radio ads, means nothing.

I want to see a television ad saying..."CHINESE DEMOCRACY TOUR" before I believe anything. Thank God football season is upon us.....but I'm a Jets fan.

I was checking a local area news website and they have banner ads for the show here in Fresno.

There's no name to the tour. Hell, it's not even a full tour yet, it's a few west coast dates. Once the schedule picks up and we see the city's and dates the band is playing, and we see GNR playing these dates, is when it's a tour.

Well, it's nice to see they are actually doing some local promoting for the shows.  Now if they can only kick their website into full gear.  Maybe an MTV ad for the tour once it fully kicks in, and umm actually release a single and then eventually CD!

BUt on topic , I think already promotion for these shows are already much more than 2002.
