Better than England? Well perhaps, but not much. The English legs of this tour made an impact on the band, the crowd at the Manchester gig was electric.

But I suppose you have hotter women, so Axl will probably appreciate that more.

Richard said they will have a gig here in Brasil in January, so it may happen early next year.

I am from and live in New York....but I must say, that for the most part, South American GNR crowds are the best. I get pumped up just watching them during Jungle or You Could Be Mine. A lot of passion and electricity running through those crowds. Axl seems to have some of his very best performances there with that amazing crowd feeding him and the band endless amounts of potent energy.

They absolutely did.....but you'll see a much more consistent crowd in South America. They just want to have a good time and appreciate it being there....rather then judge and live in the past cause' Slash ain't there. I heard a few hillbilly cocksuckers in Europe keep repeating these words when I saw a few bootlegs. "It ain't the same without Slash" Well, no shit you fuckin' redneck. VR is an ok band....go watch them then. Know what I mean bro..?

I think that one of the reasons that the public is so awesome here... it's because well we suffer a lot in the past times and we don't have a looooot of things to put our feelings put
and music is defenitly one way to express

and we don't have the chance to see these bands live... and when they come... everything it's a party
everybody enjoy the show...

it' don't really matter the media and all that shit always causing troubles and all that nono

it's all about the music... and how we expreess with that...

How do you know that the guy was from South America? ....do you know for a 100% fact that it had anything to do with Slash? It could've been a shirt with Axl's mug shot from the 98' incident... and that was just one show......also I am talking much more about the crowd having a good time and getting excited more often during the entire show then anywhere else. The only other place that compares everytime they go there is New York. They had great f'n crowds in the European tour as a whole though.

Been a fan from the very beginning,

I consider myself very lucky to have seen 4 shows live each sort special in its own way...

Touring with Maiden (this show started it all for me), in Toronto, later saw them on the First leg of the illusions tour (again in Toronto, the best show I've ever seen GNR at their peak imo) moved to Europe saw them in 92' Stuttgart Germany (biggest attendance in Europe 75000+) and in Munich 93' (Estrange Video...awsome stadium, the band were in an awsome mood and the crowd was wild!).

Now, ?I live in Brazil, I've seen the shows RIR 91' and '01 on Video, I've been to a few shows here in the last 5 years, NO COMPARISON!!!!! people go fuckin' apeshit no one gives a rats ass if there are buses, trains whatever , I was in S?o Paulo to see U2 vertigo/tour man 80000 people bouncing to Elevation! man it was insane,
no words can explain it.....now I can only imagine being in attendance 180000 bouncing to WTTJ (attendance at RIR 91) holy shit!.

Everything has to do with emotions, here you sort of have that taste of danger, if you will. Which adds to the experience, HUGE CROWDS, awsome woman, liquor served all night long, no time limits! (so Axl can show up when he wants) ....usually shows here don't start till quite late anyway .

Bands also get totally psyched up when they come here, because its different. Exotic for them aswell. So they seem really happy to be here.

heres to GNR in South America in 2007 ? ok beer ? ?
