Well, as Frank was only replacing Brain so he could be there when his kid was born I would guess that Brain would be back. Perhaps he wants to take a little more time off though.

this is a damn good question in my opinion. at first i thought that brain would spend a few days with wife and child then return to finish the tour but that didn't happen. if i had to guess i would say that brain would resume duties once the shows begin. if i'm not mistaken brain resides on the west coast so the shows would be a lot closer to home for him and for all we know it was planned this way.

It should be Brain. He's stuck it out this long, he should stick around. As a fellow dad, however, I can see him wanting to spend more time with his kid.

I don't understand why anyone would want him out of the lineup. He's been dedicated, and he's the most versatile drummer GNR has had. If the idea of having Brain's understudy is so appealing, why not Finck's understudy or Fortus' techie.

Better @ Nottingham is a legendary performance.  I love Brain.  Frank, though, is on the level of Gonzo!!! If he drums like he did at Notthingham, it won't be "where's Slash?"  It will be "Where's Frank?"??  "GnR ain't GnR /out Frank.." 

You are delusional. Please seek help. No one even knows this guy and he's played a handful of shows and you think he's on that level? This is whats really annoying about a certain segment of the fanbase, and I didnt know you were in that group until just now. Axl could have picked ANYBODY and a bunch of people would say what you just said. Even if Axl for some reason picked someone because they sucked people would still praise him as the second coming of Bonham.

Its just like I said in a BBF thread not too long ago, and the same would apply here: Axl could dig up Tiny Tim's corpse and throw it onstage and certain people would praise him as the greatest musician ever.

First, Brain is the best. Now Frank is the best. The next version of GNR could have someone else and they'll be the best. It never stops. How many people can be the best, and why is the best always the person that followed the previous best?
