Hey guys,  I'm flying over to Anaheim for the NAMM show and will be arriving on the 16th.  Can anyone tell me how far it is from Anaheim to San Diego?  Is there a train?

90 minutes by car with no traffic.  Amtrak and Metrolink run to San Diego from Orange County.

Not yet. I will today........  Dang I'm bummed.   Sad     I couldn't make Vegas or KROQ  and can't make the shows this weekend.....

Does anybody think they could ever come to San Diego ever now, after 2002 and then now this???

me too!! this was gonna be my first GN'R show!!  crying
i swear, i am cursed.  i live in AZ, and i guess they don't play AZ shows anymore since the Phoenix incident? (am i wrong here? anyone?)

i listened to the Inland Invasion show via webcast, and that is the closest i have ever come to seeing a GN'R show.  it was amazing!!

anyway, i don't know... i really hope they play San Diego or Phoenix again, soon!

There ARE still tickets available to the Los Angeles shows.  It's only an additional two hour drive.

not happy about it, but what can we do.  San Diego gets screwed for the third time in a row.
i loved GNR, grew up listening to it...Axl was my hero...then the guy disappeared, and I grew up.  i wont cry or bitch about it,  its life.  ive got other things in my life going for me.

on the plus side  if they do come back to San Diego, I bet there is a new set list  ok

Um.....the last time they did a show in San Diego was in 1992. So, any setlist would be fine.. Grin
But yeah, I hear ya.....I was going to come for the SD show in 2002 (living on the east coast then) but it got cancelled. Now, I live only 5 minutes from the venue and naturally I was going again but..... Sad
Please, GN'R, come to San Diego in 2007......it's beautiful down here.... Grin
At least, we still have the LA shows which are not that far.
