Isn't it strange how Duff & Scott haven't said a word or how the band has been seen together. Maybe the axl/slash thing did cause a rift. is slash, duff, matt & dave in the studio writing songs together? all we here from Matt is that he and Slash are working on songs. When Matt said they work 5days a week did he mean the entire band? I think things are moving slower then we would like which is why their won't be an album in the forseeable future.

i think there's some depression in VR camp about Axl. who knows, they might not even make this album.

They just arn't going to address every rumour that's sturd up on the internet, and arn't going to give people who talk crap about them the satisfaction by responding everytime.

They've just did a mini-tour together, they are working on the album and I hardly think past people/problems are on their mind. Everythink is fine until said otherwise (by a actual member of the ban)

I forgot about the 5 shows but still why is matt the only one talking. The rest of the guys are uncharacteristically quiet. I've been following Slash's career the past 10 years and he's never been this quite. I don't expect them to have to answer to the rumors but I want to know if they are taking this seriosly or not. I already know Matt & Slash are but we haven't heard anything from the others guys. The fact that Matt's throwing next spring out there is a little scary. I don't mind waiting fpr as long as it takes but I'd like to know if it's going to be worth the wait from somebody other than Matt this time.

It'll be interesting to hear their follow up.  I think that Contraband was more oriented at youth, which is smart business but bad music.  An opportunity to grow will be driven by their own possible rift within the band.  This could be similar to the situation leading up to the Illusion albums by GNR and that was, arguably, a successful pair of albums.

Depression about Axl? "Oh god he made EURO TOUR! fuck, WE ARE DOOMED!"
It seems all you're trying to do is boil the blood of VR & GN'R fans by saying shit like "who knows, they might not even make this album."/"Robin is more GN'R than Slash"
Can't you just say you like Robin alot and he fits GN'R? But instead you HAVE to include Slash/VR in hope of getting a fight?

ps. I bet Axl is pretty depressed 'cause Matt is playing with Camp Freddy  Sad

Let's don't go down this road, it'll be moved to Dead Horse with this post being the catalyst.
