These are probably the warmup gigs for the US much like the Hammerstein shows were the European warm-ups.

Ladies and gentlemen..

Chinese Democracy has begun.? ok

Yes it has! beer

And yes, I would expect bigger venues after these few shows....

Great news.   I saw one of the 01 shows and this venue is great.

I'll be there with microphones making sure these do not go undocumented like the last go-round.

I'll be seeing Tom Petty in Chicago the 2 nights previous, so itll work out great. Cheaper to fly to Vegas from Chicago than from Milwaukee.

On the Joint's website, one show (The FIxx) is listed as 21+, the rest make no mention.

I would call to be sure although I did notice as well that some shows specifically said 21+ but GNR didn't.

Dank, looking forward to your quality work again! ok

Damn...they are playing The Joint....1,500 seats...is that it!!! Shocked that would be an intense show to be sure!!! ok good luck getting seats to that puppy

Only 1500?!! Good and bad at the same time.

Depending on who's headlining, the room converts from a standard concert hall with folding chairs and small round tables to an open floor for dancing and even moshing. The acoustics are superb, equally pristine for the hard-rocking thump of Danzig or the quiet bluegrass fiddle of Alison Krauss. Sometimes the place can get overloaded (as can many of the patrons), and you'll definitely pay for the privilege of seeing an arena band in a 1,500-seat venue. But when The Joint is jumping, it's the best place in town.

That'd be definitely a great privilege but with the place having only a seating capacity of 1500 it should be extremely difficult to get a ticket. I doubt if there're enough for a forum presale. nervous

Shhh! If you say it (type it rather) out loud it won't come true! Seriously though, this is fantastic news. I can't wait until the tour dates start pouring in one by one. Maybe they'll even play Philly! 2006 has really turned out to be a great year for GNR fans so far.

That is not true. I live in Vegas, EVERY show on new years is sold out.  They may have released tickets day of, but I was trying to get tickets for weeks for that show.. and it was sold out.
