Whether I download or not, I am absolutely buying the album itself.  I want the artwork, I want the booklet, I want the CD in my hands.  To me, downloading is a chance to preview material and ensure that I want to buy the full album.  Having said that, I'd like to be surprised by new tunes on the disc.  I'm well beyond the point of questioning whether or not I'll buy the album.  On release day, it's mine.

I would not want to download it.  When it is released, I will want to look though all of the stuff that comes with it while listening to it, or before listening to it.  I don't do that with any other band or cd....but GNR is different in my book

Now, I download most albums anyways, so yeah I'll download it. However, albums I like I buy, so I think it's even. A little money for Axl and Geffen, and some new car music for me.

Same here. I got the leaks the first chance I got, way before the live performances. The album itself won't be any different.

thats a tough call. i would want to wait until the cd comes out, but if i had the chance to download it first, i probably would. even if i downloaded it i would still buy it when it came out. i got a chance to burn a copy of the velvet revolver cd a month before it came out and i still went and bought the cd the day it came out.

Im planning to buy at least 3 CD's from Mexico City and if i can buy another editions from other countries like the states i will =)

After that i will download it and burn it for the parties my cd's always get scratched at the parties LOL

i don't know if i would or not.  i don't normally d/l music, i'm not into listening to music on the computer.  i'd rather have a disc that i can take wherever.  and when i do download something, i can never find it to listen to it again.  plus i like the liner notes and the pictures and all that stuff that comes along with the disc.  i would want to hear it, it would be killing me.....i'd be thinking about downloading it, i would want to, but i probably wouldn't.

i wouldn't want to download it but that would mean i will have to stay off this board because there will be people who did and will start threads with lyrics and discussions. so if i'll keep off the board and it will leak within 2 weeks earlier that an official release date i think i'll wait.

Not a chance! Talk about ruining the wait by having to download it! I will be waiting for the proper day itself to actually have this baby in my hands instead of some downloaded version! I have always refused to download the leaks as well, I want to hear it properly!! Mike

If axl can get out of the fucking clubs actually sit down, master the album and set a relesase date.... then no fucking way i'll download it. But he can't get it together and give us a press release that actually says something more profound than 'Swedish security forced me in to pleading guilty so i could continue the tour' then fuck off dude i'm downloading. It might be only way to ever here the new music.
