Before all my posts about subjective matters there should be an IMO before the post. I took this sig down but of course it has to go back up.

um, was this not actually done the time of the recent replacements tunes? i dont think its a recent development - im sure tommy mentioned this on his radio interview a few days before the new york shows were announced.

either way, it is good news. i do love tommy in guns, i think he is the main man outside of axl and certainly brings the much needed element of rock n roll to the band, but its still nice to see him and westerberg kicking it. its actually westerberg im more worried about - for me he hasnt been consistently amazing since as far back as tim (though all shook down was good, it was also too smooth and too ott on the horns). his solo records are good and all, but theyre maybe not good enough. and the most recent replacements tracks, though a hell of a lot better than most of the stuff flying around today, they weren't exactly bastards of young or sixteen blue.

but as long as theyre both still playing together, something great is always gonna come out of that. and... if worst comes to worst in the gnr camp, the continued closeness of westerberg and tommy could manifest itself into the next best thing -  a mats reunion tour. obviously, and unfortunately, it'd be devoid of their antics of their heyday, but it'd still be awesome to hear the likes of sadly beautiful and here comes a regular live.
(but thats not gonna happen, cause good ship gnr is a good ship at long last). (touch wood).
