I'll be taking a cab to the show from the hotel or wherever I'm at. How likely am I to find a cab to take me home after the show? I don't know the area but I've heard it's not the best part of town.

If your hotel is in the Union Square area (which a lot of them are) you can pretty much walk there. The area's kind of shady but chances are there'll be a bunch of people from the show walking around.

Expedia and traelocity list the area as "South of market", and all the hotels I'm brining up are a half mile or less away. This safe to walk? or are there cabs around>?

The Warfield is more in the area called the Tenderloin. Its considered one of the worst areas of san francisco, but thats not saying too much. In short, you should be fine. Its the downtown area, so theres going to be good and bad. Chances are the worst that will happen is being approached by some homeless person asking for money or something.
Now I live in the opposite end of the city, so unless I find someone here to go with me, I will be riding the bus home all alone
I'm not sure about cabs, I haven't really looked around at night(and i just moved here two nights ago), but if I'm in the area in the coming weeks I'll definately keep an eye out for everyone.

I have tickets available for this show as well as Thursday's show posted in the 9/21 thread...I sold many tickets to other board members for the Hammerstein shows for face value and they were very satisfied, just in case anyone is thinking I'm new to the boards and I'm a scalper I AM NOT...anyways here's what I have:
3 Tickets in Upper Loge 1 Row DD
2 Tickets in Upper Loge 1 Row FF
1 Ticket in Upper Loge 3 Row DD
If interested PM me or email me at
ireekofawesumnes@hotmail.com
These will be sold for face value UNLESS you plan to pay me with Paypal, in that case you will have to pay SLIGHTLY over face ONLY BECAUSE Paypal takes a small percent of the money, so I just want to break even, NOT MAKE ANY MONEY...truth be told these are awesome seats and I could dump them on Ebay or Craigslist but I'm just trying to hook up some real fans instead...Jarmo or mods if there's a problem with my paypal policy please PM me before removing the link, I am NOT looking to MAKE any $$, just break even and hook some board members up like I did in May
Thanks!

We were planning to go to both San Francisco shows with friends, and now none of us can go! Heres what we're selling:
Wed. Sept. 20: Lower Balcony 6, Row G (I paid $180)
Upper Balcony 3, Row R (I paid $145)
Thurs. Sept 21: Upper Balcony 1, Row S (I paid $145)
Upper Balcony 4, Row P (I paid $145)
I bought all the tickets directly from TicketMaster, and they are all hard tickets. Please make me a reasonable offer. I'm a working mom, but I do need to sell these tickets. You can call me at (925)788-5874 if you are interested.

I'm getting out of class at 5pm, so however long it takes to get there, is when I'm getting there.
