OP: There is a substantial difference between making a statement and making quality art or music. If your art is simply a vehicle for a political agenda, what aesthetic value does it have? The lyrics you printed above seem to say, "not much." It's nice that you are concerned about politics in China, but coming out and saying so in such a direct way is not good writing - it does label you as "b grade punk." You will convince more people to feel sympathetic to your cause by using metaphors that they can relate, rather than stating random facts and opinions.

I can't believe I responded to this seriously.
