Hey all,

I just recieved this and I'm currently watching it. The mix isn't that bad at all (but not brilliant either, heh).

I'm just wondering how many versions are out there. I was told the one I have is from DIME. It has no menu, has 256kbps sound and the video bitrate averages around 2-4mbps, which I think seems a little low.

I'm just wondering if there are better sources - or this is the best, I don't know.

Thanks,
Simon.

Also, I just noticed it skips around 12 mins in during the 'Brownstone' solo.

It this common or have I got an error??

Cheers.

I'm not so sure about differences between AOL and SIC, the camera angles are the same or MAYBE just with small differences. SIC has definitely much better image and sound quality, a bit less crippled by stupid mixing, but it's incomplete (new songs are omitted)

Just one more thing - how's yours compare?? what bitrate does your have and also about the skip I mentioned above (if it no supposed to be there I'll have to get the person to re-burn it).

Thanks.  Smiley

Theres 2 pro-shot sources, the TV broadcast and the webcast.

The broadcast is better quality all round but lacks the new songs. 256kbps sound is what the broadcast compression was. Provided the sound was ripped properly, it would be the best available.

You have an actual noticeable skip in the DVD during a solo?  That doesn't seem right, seems like a burning error.  I have the DIME version and don't recall this.

Yup, its a light skip and I haven't watched it all yet so there may be more.

I'll get onto getting it re-burnt and re-sent.

Cheers for helping me out.  ok
