GUNS N' ROSES keyboardist Dizzy Reed will be taking his ultra-fun side project HOOKERS 'N' BLOW (a.k.a. HOLLYWOOD BULLDOZER) out for a two-week tour starting on August 22 in Baton Rouge, LA. and ending on September 9 in Hollywood, California for the band's first Los Angeles performance in over three years. Past members of HOOKERS 'N' BLOW have included Alex Grossi (QUIET RIOT), Troy Patrick Farrell (WHITE LION), Jizzy Pearl (LOVE/HATE, RATT) and John Corabi (ex-M?TLEY CR?E), among others.

Pretty much rules out the VMAs - but the upside is that it looks like the tour is gonna start in mid September!

IM excited to see Dizzy again in NY . Who knows maybe Richard will join him again like he did a few times in the past (as aside not , it was at the Lions Den in NYC that I first met Richard, while he was gusting with Dizzy, and wasnt the last time I got to hang out with him ). So Im all for seeing a great night of music! Till the GUNNERS come back and do a full show in NYC.

It's pitiful that Dizzy has to resort to these tactics to garner interest in his cover band. He should change the name of his band to "Axl's Ass Kissers", and get Baz to guest on vocals. In all seriousness, I wouldn't be surprised if Robin, Tommy, or Richard are at the show. Dizzy is in trouble when Chinese democracy comes out and Chris Pittman steals Dizzy's thunder. That's going to be a huge blow to Dizzy when Chris becomes GnR's most popular keyboardist.
