I'm not a jets fan by any means, but I liked the call. When your playing the colts you need points, lots of points because the colts are gonna score. Maybe a bad play call, but not a bad call. They were on the 3 yard line, and you pin the colts deep if your stopped. The interception was the worst possible thing that could happen. Plus if they got it, everybody would be praising them for going for it.

Thing is, everybody knew that they were gonna pass it....they should have passed it once on the first 3 downs....Play-action pass inside the 5 yard line is MONEY unless it is 4th down...That is a rule of thumb unless you have a dominant running game that will get a TD no matter what...btw, notice that they lost by 3 points?....hmmmmm

wow , first I looked at this thread, I ahve to sayu, Ive been a long time Jet fan, since birth, born into the green gang, been goin to games since as young as five, my dad holds 6 season tix. AS far as now I cant say they have been doin to badly, last week was a heartbreaker, but they played a great game against peyton, and the colts. Im interewsting in seeing how this week , today goes!

That means nothing. If they kicked the field goal, every single play after that point would have been different. Field position and subsequent play calls based on that field position would have all been changed.

It was the right play call, I feel, just poor execution. I would have prefered Pennington threw it away than force it in to coverage when he never had the strongest arm to begin with.

I'm liking the new attitude that the Jets are showing this year. Their is an attitude about them, that they are never out of a game. As recently as last year they would have rolled over and died in a game like last weeks.

yeah, I was at work, durng the game, and we jsut changed to the dallas game on the big screens, a bit after the 3rd quarter. wow, that really sucked!
