Dave has good taste and he is a phenomenal guitar player! He didn't ruin RHCP's career either, he played on one of their greatest albums ever ONE HOT MINUTE. I would much rather that than their latest tripe (Everything pre- By The Way was great).

I love navarro, and his solo project is good, better than most out there.

I personaly never liked RHCP so all their stuff is crap IMO. (THEY ARE BORRING)

Navarro was probably the best musician involved with GNR (Except Slash/Brian May)
and I'm really sorry that he didnt stick around longer.

I didnt realise Dave Navarro had so many fans. I thought he was one of the most widely hated guitarists.

I dont really know what hes like - didnt listen to hard to One Hot Minute and never got into Janes Addiction.

navarro is the only guitarist in the new gnr that could fill in for Slash.
I'm a huge fan of Robin Finck, but no matter what I think that if Navarro stayed in the band we wouldnt need finck or bumblefoot.
that's how Navarro is great IMO.

Navarro is great, and I wish I knew more about his involvement with the band.
if he is one of the most widely hated guituarist, then I like him even more Kiss

Would this be the Sunday Night May show in NYC at Hammerstein? He did mention losing his voice from the Friday first show there. Anyone know if Navarro was there? It's the one night I went to.

Yeah there were a lot of big names there on Sunday.

I know I saw lenny Kravitz and Fred Durst, and the guy from Sin Ciy in the 1st balcony on the other side of them. I heard others were there..but they probably arrived after the lights went off and the band cam on.

Nope, it was back in the day.

Dave was not at any of the Hammerstein shows.

Jane's Addiction's first three albums (Strays does NOT count as a Jane's album in my opinion) stands up to anything GnR has put out, no question.

Ritual De Lo Habitual probably surpasses Appetite as a favorite album of mine, probably my favorite album of all time.

Man, you're missing out! Go pick up 'Nothings Shocking' and 'Ritual De Lo Habitual' by Janes Addiction! OR if you can't stand Perrys voice (I know a lot of people can't) check out Daves new band The Panic Channel, they have a new CD out and it's kick ass  ok

Dave almost destroyed the Chili Peppers during the one hot minute tour

What about their tone deaf singer?
