Only my cost of my ticket (about ?42).

Shame really - if I had more cash I would have also gone to Nottingham and got myself a nice t-shirt.

I really want a tour t-shirt - hopefully they'll be on sale on the net soon  Cry

I've seen them three times: Dublin (the best of all 3), Belgium and the Netherlands. It costed me around 1100 euro. But what I got for it was worth every cent! The only bad memory I have is that I didn't see them more times (wish I could have attended one of the UK shows). But I couldn't get more days off from work...

Well, seeing your favorite band live eleven times made me a bit happier, that's one thing. ?Wink

Holy crap...

But they did the exact same show each time....

That's what annoyed me about the new band - if you've seen them once you've seen them 1000 times - same songs, same solos - virtually zero crowd interaction - 'oh Beautiful in instrumental form....again'

4x Donnington tickets - ?540 (plus lockers ?560)
Stuff for Download - ?300
Petrol - ?100
2x Sheffield tickets - ?75
Petrol - ?125
7x Brimingham tickets - ?262
Rental on People carrier- ?75
Petrol - ?110
5 x T-shirts - ?130

Total - ?1717....thankfully I had a little financial help from the people who went from me (though not nearly enough as they should have paid me!)....totally worth it though (apart from the fact I spent ?20 on a memory card for the Sheffield gig, got some great pics because I was at the front but the data got corrupted. Couldn't get a refund/exchange. Bought another memory card for the Birmingham gig but it was the wrong bloody size! Angry)

Well, I got my ticket for free and I live within walking distance from the arena, so my total cost is about 2 euro (a hot chocolate to keep me from freezing to death in the queue...) Wink

I would have paid a lot more though, if I needed to.

Wrong.

Lisbon: Huge show in a big nice park. First show for me.
London: Small famous venue. Electric!
Dublin: Daylight show.
Download: Bad start, great finish.
Stockholm: Great lights +SOS
Oslo: Izzy! Nice setlist.
Birmingham: Bad security.
Nottingham: Asshole in crowd.
London: Covers!
London: Acoustic.
London: Baz saves the day!

Are you going to tell me I saw the same show eleven times?

I didn't even include the people I met before and after the shows. Which makes each show even more special.

Thanks again to everybody who showed up at the bars/pubs and who I met at the venues! It was nice meeting you. Smiley

Not in the same league as most but,

Dublin - ?50 return flights, ?30 hotel, ?45 ticket, ?20 t-shirt, ?20 food+transport, ?12 train back home from airport

Glasgow - ?30 return flights, ?30 transport,?44 ticket, ?20 beer, luckily free accommodation (gd old folks)

TOTAL=?300 or so

Both gr8 experiences, probably enjoyed Glasgow more as it's my homeland, and the crowd seemed to be all the more nuts! Plus I was down the front and Izzy was there!
Dublin was gr8 as I've never been there before, saw Axl out on time(!), and it was my first GN'R gig. And it was a beautiful day(weather and musically)
