Some say the end is near......

The last few days i am listening a lot at the leaked Demos including the instrumentals...

What i really noticed is that the music on the instrumentals is great...

A lot of depth, emotion, different layers with 2 Leads that play different styles but compliment each other very much and most of the times it just cannot go better....

Even I.R.S has a nice "complexity"

Now with Axl i have to say that i am not that impressed...Apart from the beggining of better and a few screams i don't think his singing & lyrics are at the level of the instrumentals.

Although he sings very good, in most cases i feel, that it is not the best he could have done with these instumentals...On the other hand i feel that the band and the 2 leads & rhythm are doing exceptionaly well.

So unfortunately i have to conclude that Axl is the weakest link in these demos!!!
And it is weird cause in a lot of the past songs i believe that Axl was the strongest link both vocally and lyrically...

So i really hope that Uncle Axl has something better up his sleeve when CD drops cause i don't want to feel dissapointed by his performance..

by the way your a fucking idiot

mike, ive read a lot of your posts, this isnt a dig btw, but u cant seem to let go of the original gnr, do u actually support this new lot?

Saying" Axl wasn't all of gn'r 20 years ago" and saying "I want nuGN'R to fail" are two very seperate things.

I support axl, nothing else.. Same way I support slash or duff...

I'm just not a person that feels one man is gnr or should be using the gnr name... That goes for any member, and I never fall for the oh one guy =gnr.... Gnr was huge because they did it together... AFD was a blend of many things, something that could interest anyone ,vocals to guitars

This is a Guns N Roses forum, to me people don't have to love or even like the new lineup to be here because if they supported loved the old GnR then they are still at the right place. It doesn't always have to be about the present lineup.

People say "you cant seem to let go of the original gnr" so? This is a GnR forum isn't it. It amazes me that were all GnR fans here yet some people want to disown the Classic lineup.
