17 times, and I can honestly say that the NYC shows were as good as any shows from the late 80's/early 90's.

alpine valley 91, rosemont horizon 92, hoosierdome 92, iowa 93, hammerstein 06 x2.

all great shows but the edge goes to hammerstein mainly because of the intimacy, being right behind the rail centerstage and the long overdued anticipation of seeing my favorite band of all time.

Three times: Download (Donnington), Sheffield and Birmingham.....each better than the last (apart from the fact that at Birmingham I only got seated tickets and I was slightly drunk so my memory is a little fuzzy)

« Reply #79 on: August 15, 2006, 05:53:18 PM »

I need to ask you this question: What are the differencies between the old shows (old band) and the new ones (new band)?
Could you tell precisely, with details, the way you felt between going to see the old band and the new band? what are the major diferencies? What were the best shows? old band shows? new band shows? and what about each band? (chemistry, exitation, feeling, energy etc...).
