GnR is unstoppable, but delay-able ;)

check the article here:
http://www.lsionline.co.uk/news/story.asp?ID=D3LW54

at the end, it says:

Quote
Sunday 30 July was the last night of the European leg of the tour and EFM were waiting backstage at Wembley to load out the equipment into trucks and containers to return immediately back to the USA, where the band will be departing shortly on their US tour.

I'm glad GNR had a successful European tour, cuz I like GNR . . . but after travelling out to Vegas in 2001 and watching the band live in 2002 . . . I'm not sure I have much interest in hearing Welcome to the Jungle then the same old set list back in the good old US of A. . . adding "Better" just doesn't do it for me.

I'm a hardcore GNR fan but only a new set list, not necessarily CD either, I'm talkin - Estranged, Civil War, Don't Cry, Dead Horse, Coma, Garden of Eden . . .

At this point, it seems a like Broadway-esqe to me . . . same act every night.

You gotta give people what normal people want. And that does not include Coma and Garden of Eden. They could take out a few AFD numbers and include Civil War or Dead Horse...

Oh...Dead Horse....  hihi

Are you attending every show?
I envy you.

It seems to me that each night was not quite like other nights. different show time, song order/ solos/ jams/ covers, comments, happenings, nuisance, TD, etc. the songs eap new ones would be/sound different each time played live.

I saw them 4 times this tour (+ pukkelpop) and i still wish i had gone to more (stupid money)

Every show was a different setlist for me!
But that doesn't even matter to me, i love every song as long as it's played intensly ok

No.

But, I have read every set list and there isn't a lot of variety.

One song. That's all I'm asking. Play Coma. Or, play estranged.

I think members have become arrogant here. Would it really hurt to take a suggestion, before you tell the hardcore fans to take a walk?

I'm not saying Axl is the antichrist or the band sucks.

If I were an artist, I would want to know what the audience wants. I think new and old fans can be satisified.

Im sorry but you must be living in a completely different world than most of the people here.

You're asking to be disappointed.

I love how these people complaining about the setlist haven't been to a show on the '06 tour.  What are you just imagining you're not having a good time?

Sorry, if I insulted you Axl. If you could, please do not play any songs from Illussion. Apparently, this is what your martyrs want. Sorry for the suggestion. I apologize if I liked Bad Obsession in 1992 or Estranged in 1993. Don't play them again.

Look, this thread has nothing to do with the setlist.

Let's keep it that way.

There will be a US tour. I think that has already been mentioned many times.

It will start end of Sept and go on for three months

What is this a tour for? Or will this info be included in the long awaited announcement?

Psychologically, you could consider this a reunion tour because I`ve managed to find enough pieces of my mind in order to be with you here tonight - - Axl Rose, Chicago 2002

I would love to think it is for Chinese Democracy. However I saw a similarly named tour in 2002, so I guess I don't know.
