because i want the single out. i want the cd released. i want axl to finally deliver after years after failing to deliver. i want the truth. i want axl to admit the truth on why he has failed all these years for the guns n roses fans wants and needs. what they deserve and expect. i want axl to get on the ball and announce the official release date of the cd because if he doesnt in august 2006 then theres no chance in hell the cd will come this year. no chance in hell.

I disagree. ?I think that if an artist caters to what other people want, fans or record company executives, they compromise their art. ?They have to do what they feel is best for them creatively and trust their instincts. ?Any other mode of operation reeks of a lack of artistic integrity.

I wasn't at the show, but he far from failed me.  They were awesome in NYC, and I'm looking forward to seeing them again back in the states.  Yes, I would have been disappointed, but still - two songs...it seems a bit harsh to me.

I guess I'd be a little upset at only getting to hear 14 songs (not including solos), and Sebastian Bach on vocals for 1 1/2 of those songs.  But hey, 14 is better than NONE right?  Let's hope Axl's alright, and we move onward.  Bands cut concerts short all the time, due to techinical difficulties, weather if it's an outside show, sickness, etc.  This is nothing new, what's done is done.  Let's be thankful they made it through the whole tour and hope for more in the near future.

As far as GNR playing to empty arenas and all that, we have to remember that the band started that way. They were doing things their way, didn't sell out to the record companies. If I understood some interviews correctly, Don't Cry is what got them signed and they were suppose to have it on AFD, which they did not.  They always did things their way, Axl always did things his way, and they were the biggest band in the world at that point. Then Axl went away and took care of his personal shit. Now he's out again, playing a hell of a tour, and had a mistake. I'm sure Axl feels just awful about it, and all these "fans" that are bitching about how he fucked up and is unprofessional are just making him feel lose. As much as an asshole that he can be, he seems to be (never met the dude, just from what I've read and heard) a pretty sensitive guy and actually could end up going back to how he was the past few years and not go out! Fuck, why is everyone so worried about what the press will say when the "fans" are prolly saying worse things.

Axl or if anyone close to him reads this, he'll be in my prayers and hopefully will feel better and recover from this!!!
