To reiterate a previous poster (or 2) ?Don't be pissed if there ISN'T anything extrodinarily special tonight. ?There have been no promises, no hints from the band itself.....don't be pissed ?peace

I think anyone counting on an announcement of any type is going to be severely disappointed. I'd like to have to eat these words, but I just don't see it happening.

I'd agree with you.  I'd love to see it, but I won't let myself be dissapointed if there's nothing special.  No doubt it would be incredible though

Yep, the rumour is a roadie said that there's going to be a new, unheard song played, realese date and album art of Chinese Democracy revealed, FYI this rumour is from mygnr.

The only comment by the band about a suprise in Wembley is Ron Thal's "We'll have to wait and see" (or something like that)..

and the surprise was the acoustic gig and GNR paying for someone to fly to california in late sept.
