over 30 shows in europe and maybe 4 shows that are considered good to very good quality...no radio broadcasts and no soundboards.....hardly any real clear DAT'S......what happened???

as an example the Chili Peppers just did 2 months in Europe also and there is at least 10 !!  Great soundign shows ranging from soundboards that leaked to crystal clear Dats that destroy budapest and vienna.............i was hoping with all the new technology out there we would have a bunch of great GNR boots but it minds well be 1987 all over again.........Not to be negative but I was relaly looking forward to some crystal clear boots....

but you're right, i thought the ones would be better from what i've heard. if i had the money i would have gone out and taped a bunch of these gigs!!!

Not disappointed at all. Bootlegs are cool but going there is so much better. It's nice to have a souvenir though. I'm glad with what I got from Dublin, Paris and Wembley. I'm waiting for Oslo but if I don't have it that's not a big deal.

I'm very pleased with the Paris DVD, even though it's incomplete, and I really, really want to see a DVD of Dublin! Those were the two best shows I've seen. I heard the aud shot from Rock Am Ring is great (didn't have time to download it). The GN'R community has never been a very sharing community, so I'm actually pretty pleased with what we got from this tour. This ain't the Pearl Jam or U2 community, we just have to deal with it. Indeed. ?I cant understand why people moan about quality or the fact that we arent getting enough boots. ?Its basically easy. ?If you dont like it, then practise the following steps....

1)Go and spend the money for a decent MD Recorder and microphone.

2) Go buy the discs

3) Pay to go and see the concerts, whilst having to smuggle the equipment in (not always that easy).

4) Record the concert under the glare of security, whilst making sure it is recording ok and changing the discs at exactly the right time, checking batteries etc

5) Then transfer it onto computer, whilst making sure the best possible quality is given.
This includes having to get more equipment to transfer it.

6) Then split the tracks and then share to the public.

Still sound easy and simple? ?Believe me it is not.

The best bootleg is the one from the Wembely 30th show. Too bad only 1 new song was played.

People will make threads to complain about just anything.  Jeez.  I personally have seen a ton of boots around for purchase, on torrents, on direct uploads, etc...You just have to know where to look.

And seriously, if you are going to complain about a lack of something why not get out there, spend 1000's of dollars on the equipment, try not to get thrown out of the show for bringing the stuff in, and start filming shows to share?

Gunnershome, I havent released my Wembley gig yet, thanks and credit goes to Anythinggoes for that.  I will release all the shows soon.  All are basivcally on a par with my hammersmith recording.

We will see more stuff getting released, I can count on that but we all needa little 'patience'.

Want better..... You do it.  Thank you to all the bootleggerz who ahve done hard work to get us what we have.  Some one offered 1000 bux on the spot for a pro shot and was turned down... so if you want a soundboard or a proshot go ask bill gates for a loan motherfucker.
