We only know that 20 or so people were selected from the crowd at tonights gig. We have no idea the total number of people that will be there.

A press release on this would be so fucking lame. ?They've already had to press release the first acoustic gig. ?Remember this:

this acoustic show is not worth it because it will be more of the same it will be more oldies. Don't u get it? wake up. if this was 1986 i would love an acoustic show. but this is 2006 and the cd is still not out. so i dont care about this acoustic show or that september show. all i care about is axl finally giving the gnr fans what they want THE CD ?

My guess would be that there will be other people there but not necessarily fans - so this gesture was made to include some of them.  Who knows maybe it's for the industry people.

Any time GNR performs I think its a great thing, but if they want to get a positive reaction out of the new songs at concerts, they need to release CD before the US tour.  by positive i mean dancing and singing to the music.

Didn't mean to make it sound like a complaint, sorry for that.  More disappointed than anything.  I'll have seen 14 shows on this tour, come tomorrow, and have travelled a hell of a long way and spent more money than I care to think about supporting GNR.  But, yes, I know it was my choice, and again, I'm not complaining or saying that I should get special treatment because of it, it's just that I'd love to have had the chance to be at the show and felt gutted when the list was read out and my name wasn't there.  Not that I really expected it but was hoping against hope that it might be.  So, although I applaud Axl or whoever thought up the idea, I just hope that the people lucky enough to go really do appreciate it, that's all I meant.
