i'm not whining, it just doesn't make any sense.  I mean, I'm happy that they're playing live and all, but these two shows are their last ones til fall and i assumed there would be SOMETHING exciting, but alas nothing (yet).

I think those covers are damn exciting  Dude, Axl singing "Sailing" by Rod Stewart?? That is incredible. It's just fun for the band and I'm sure everyone in the crowd.

FFS people are expressing there opinion on the setlist, normally bands with only 1 album out do covers to build up the setlist and people are just saying it's confusing when they could do somethink from the USI albums.

Stop bitching about people having opinion "we should be happy they showed up" "be happy with what you've got" "don't expect anythink" Fuck that all these people are saying is shut your mouth and sit there and smile with what happens.

It's more annoying hearing people bitching about people have a opinion then it is the persons actual comment.

I guess they'd be cool if they are full versions for sure. I'd really be interested in hearing Axl sing Back In The USSR. The White Album is by far my favorite Beatles album. He could do anything off that and I'd be happy.

Right? Like when Queen played Wembley in 86, they did a bunch of covers, a little medly. Trutti Frutti and Hello Mary Lou, Goodbye Heart, it was fun.

I haven't listened to that album in a long time, but if I remember they did the full versions. They were just bunched together in the middle. Alot of acts do that type of thing.

Led Zep did loads of covers every show too- it's just a way of having fun, cutting loose, and showing respect for your roots.

If you consider Axl Rose "GNR" then Rod Stewart is in GNRs roots. Check back to the first leg of the UYI tour.
