2006 mtv music awards (if they do it.........what should/will they play ?)

He should do Better to really make all of the haters say "Wow, fucking awesome!" and come back to the band.  As long as there are no technical difficulties and he sings pretty well, it'll get them a lot of positive publicity.  However, i hope they announce an album release date before or on that day.

they need to playold songs because the only people who know the knew are who have seen new gnr or have got em off the internet, so the "haters" wont know them, this genrally wont impress them, i know the first time i heard better i thought it was crap, i love it now though. but if its on the mtv awards then they genrally wont wanna hear a new song without an old one aswell. they'd need to open with wttj, but scom would work reeally well with that audience, then a new one, like better because better i think is a good one for peopel who dont know it to hear out of the cd lot. i like the solo idea though, to show that gnr can still have great guitar without slash.

I think they will play at the VMA's and here's how I think it will go down.


- Whoever is hosting the show will make some kind of joke like " They tried it 4 yrs ago and now there here again Guns N Roses.

- Richard Fortus comes out and plays Sweet Child O'Mine solo then you got Matt Sorum on the drums.  So the band consist of ( Axl Rose Lead Vocals, Richard Fortus Lead Guitar, Tommy Stinson Bass, Izzy Stradlin Rythem Guitar, Matt Sorum on drums, Dizzy Reed Keyboards. 

- They play SCOM for awhile then they go into to BETTER and play some of that.  Then they got into the closing number which will be IRS.

- afterwards AXL ROSE WILL GIVE US THE RELEASE DATE OF OCTOBER 31 2006 FOR CHINESE DEMOCRACY then we get a video the first week of september the single BETTER.

If they play the VMA's this is how it should go down. They should have a single out on radio before the VMA's. They should show up and play the first single with Bucket back in the band. They need to have a single out before the VMA's so people are familiar with the song already.

I don't know when the VMAs take place, but I'd like to think that GNR will have a single released at least a couple weeks prior to the show. I have a feeling that "Better" will be the first single, unless the first single is a song we haven't even heard yet. But no matter what the single is, I believe that's what GNR will play. And I think it'd be cooler for them to open the show rather than end it this time.

Start off with Chinese Democracy (my opinion is that this should be the new opener? I love Jungle and all that, but they need to get more new songs!!), then play SCOM to please all the mainstream fans, fans that just hear stuff on the internet and all that. Then finish it off with a TWAT and/or Better finisher. That would be sweet!
