i think it makes sence that they will do it and if they do i think better will be played. i'm not 100% sure though. part of me would like to hear irs or twat as well. after 2002 shaky vocals from axl i'm sure he is eager to get back up there and do it 2006 style. obviously he is in a better place now and will be foaming at the mouth to bring the house down. what are your thoughts.............?

They should have a release date right before teh VMA's and then do the VMA's because it gets millions of people to remember GNR again.. most dont know there still touring or anything...

They should do.... ( No medly)....

IRS
Paradise City (With Izzy)

that's my two cents..

I dont think its gonna happen. No reason to without an album out. But if they do it, they'll do Jungle/PC.

Better would probably appeal to the MTV crowd the most...

You realize that theyre doing everything without a new album, and did the 2002 VMA without as well ?Wink

Start off playing SCOM , after first verse or chrous have all this static start up really loud , few thunder crashes , lights flash .. looks like sumthins wrong and then robin starts wailing the Better opening riff and bang "the hardest part this troubled heart..."  ok

i was thinking about the jungle/pc thing myself but even if there is no official announcement by then the jungle thing would be ultra rehash even by axl's standards considering it will be the third time he's played the song at the vma's. i just thought that assuming they will be doing a us tour it would be huge to do the vma's with one of these new songs. but i do agree that a release announcement is the most important thing.

I dont know what they'll be playing....perhaps better & IRS. I have a funny feeling MTV would announce a new category (of awards) so they can give the award to GNR...perhaps for "the best comeback"?  smoking

Sleepy so i appologize for expressing myself in a funny way nervous

Chinese Democracy with the cool intro then Sweet Child. IRS and Better are too risky, Axl could nail it but he could fuck it up again like in 02.

I woulda said Sweet Child, CD, then The Blues in a medley but I'm not too fussy on the recent performances of The Blues. I liked the 02 versions more (one of the very few things that was better then)... maybe TWAT at the end if they do a medley instead?

If he nailed better he'd win over everyone watching, but like many songs by many artists, it's hit or miss live.

Chinese Democracy and The Blues seem to be spot on everytime however....

Jungle, Better, TWAT.  If he performs these songs perfectly the crowd will be going wild.  Jungle as an opener to get the ball rolling, Better to shock the crowd, TWAT to put them in awe.  Of course if the single is out this set would change.
