From HMV?

I was in HMV today looking at some CDs. I saw some GNR cds and i was lookin at the prices they were chargin for appetite UYI etc. As i was looking i saw this:
 

So i asked the woman if this is the REAL date and she replied "Yes, that the date" i said i didn't know there was a date and then she replied "Well yes, this is the date".. and i was like OK.

I know about the HMV website where it was letting people Pre-order the CD but to you think this is legit?

that's what the guy @ cd.com posted....one question if he was in the store and saw it why ask if it is legit? seems kinda a weird question IMO...obviously it's legit if he had it in his hand...right? or am i missing something

He probably had to ask because he was shocked to see that in there.

I do it, every time I go to a record store I'll check if they have all GN'R's cd's and how much do they cost.

This way, whenever anyone asks me about cd's, I'm aware of the prices and the best offers and I let them know where should they go and buy them.

Though theyare guilty of this, I really doubt they pull dates out of their ass and take preorders, just so they can give the $$$ back when the date falls through. They get those dates from someone, although obviously it's someone who either has no clue, or GNR keep pushing it back.

Well, we all remember the Amazon fiasco....but given the fact that they are in the process of booking the US tour (apparently), then this might be more believable...were i axl, i'd still want it out before i started trying to convince people to buy tickets  for live shows, given 2002... at least a single to grab the US public's attention.
