Lawrence (the poster who supposedly recieved this e-mail) is a known Nu-GNR hater on MyGNRforum so I take this with a grain of salt.? If true, why doesn't he mark out his e-mail address and just post the actual e-mail?

Well... he could easily fake the email and then send it to whoever if you ask me. I'm not saying it is fake but it isn't necessarily confirmed to be true either.

Lawrence with respect buddy, I don't know its legit other than what Gigger posted in this thread, thats good enough for me. As you know I wouldn't share my email address with you(or anyone elase for that matter) so I've NOT seen anything for myself, but really, if you believe Lawrence, good? if not, then people are free to make their own minds up!
Either way, I dont see the email Richard sent as ground-breaking - just looks like he's more unsure than ever.....

Something smells fishy.

Why would Richard tell a fan within the last few weeks that it will come out, don't loose faith in us, and that he is going to record for the album soon, and now say that it may never come out.
