Cool
. I was under the impression that fortus wasn't going to be answering e-mails about GNR anymore.

Is this referring to those Rock in Rio concerts?? Don't usually a few years pass before they have the next one?
I'm not questioning what Richard said ... I'm just asking because I thought that's how this thing usually works.

It's kinda cool that after the sparse little comments we get from Dizzy and Tommy at gigs, we can just e-mail Richard and he'll tell us whats up

How do you know FOR SURE they will tour next year or bring out CD?!?!
If they do - great!!! But there is more chance of them not.

Hope it's true (about playing here in Brasil). If he indeed has plans to play here next year, I'll be there this time (missed RIR for stupid reasons
).

Well, it has to be released eventually and the longer we wait then technically the closer we are
or something.

it just sounded like a very "for sure" type of comment.
we might be in Brazil in 2006, but, for sure, we will have a new CD. And we're still together as GnR
It's just the way I read it I guess
of course the validity of the actual e-mail is always a concern in this type of thread. but it seems to go along with the other emials we've seen from him lately

For me, he already is. That guy could be almost as popular as Slash when the record is out. You'll see it. I have an "eye of tigger" to recognize the big talents. If I were an A&R, I would be billionaries. Don't worry for Buckethead's departure, it's nothing, just a small detail, Richard blows him away. Once he will take the Lead, He will be one of the most popular guitar player in the world.

i'd have to agree. fortus's playing on the end of the blues is by far one of the coolest/soulful guitar solos i've heard in my lifetime.

Richard is an amazing guitarist and a really sweet person, but I think people are flooding him too much with those kind of emails.
