I have preverbal blue balls that are aching soon bad to hear this album. I would gladly sell my left nad to the black market to be able to get hold of "Chinese Democracy."
oh yes......
I would sell my mother just to see the official tracklist.

This email is mad cool!

Hi,
Thanks so much for taking the time to write to me.  I appologize for the
lengthy delay in replying to your email.  I've been trying to catch up
on my website email while I'm on tour with Gn'R.  I'm just at February!
Robin... hmmm.  where to begin.  Basically, i believe Robin is one of
my favorite guitarists there is.  In my opinion, I think he is going to
emerge as THE guitar hero of this generation.  It's an honor to play
with him.  I think we compliment each other very well.  There is no
other guitarist in the world that I'd rather play with.  As a person,
he's like a brother to me.  One of my best friends ever.

I have a respond from bbf, hope it's ok, just regular stuff. Nothing in particular..

<< Hello Ron, just wanted to tell you that I support you ALL the way, I listened to ur stuff before gn'r and when I heard that u had joined them i got very glad, cause I know ur a damn good guitar player and think you deserve to be in GN'R Cheesy.

Thank you so much! I really appreciate that Smiley

<< Just one thing though, I have noticed that you refer to GN'R as in you and them, like when you talk about GN'R , for example "I don't know when GN'R is releasing Chinese Democracy". Why is that?

I'm just playing live with them, I haven't recorded with them or written music or anything. I'm still the new guy and feel like I'm overstepping by saying *we* Tongue

<< And another thing, is the cover of the album done?

Haven't seen it - don't know... Tongue

<< Who is your favorite band/artist?

Probably the Beatles... Smiley

<< many greetings from ur swedish fan who rocked the hell out in the Globe the 26th of june (the best day of my life)

Thanks so much! You guys were such a great crowd and cool people, I'll never forget ya's Smiley

Richard answered my mail as well. Nothing major, but it's nice to hear they had a good time and hope to come back soon.

Nice guy, he is.

Hi Lauri,
Thanks for taking the time to write to me.  I appologize for the lengthy
delay in responding to your email.  I've been trying desperately to
catch up on my website emails while on the road here in Europe.
Regrettably, at this point I am still only up to March.  I hope that
you enjoyed the show a few days ago in Helsinki.  We had a really great
time there and really enjoyed the shows.  What a beautiful city!  We
hope to be back very soon.  THanks for your support!

Hi Dan,
Thanks for taking the time to write to me.  I appologize for the lengthy
delay in responding to your email.  I've been trying to catch up on my
website emails while I'm on this tour.  Not that easy though, i'm still
only at April and I've only got 2 more weeks left on the tour!  Yes,
Catcher will be on the record.  I love that song too.
hope to see you very soon,
richard

I usually take these Fortus emails with a grain of salt, but if true, this is phenomenal news. I figured it had to be on the record. Considering its one of Axl's finest moments.

I'll believe that CITR is on the album when I'm listening to it from the album in my CD player.

Granted. Fortus has also promised Rhiad to be on the album, yet that song's been AWOL since Detroit '02.

Seeing is believing, though I personally wouldn't blame Richard for their absence.

Hmmm dizzy also said that it would be on the record a while ago (a year or more Huh ) i can't wuite remember...maybe the true reason for the absence of this track in the setlist is because it will be the 1st single...or is a candidate for the 1st single...maybe they play the blues and better to see what is more liked then from there they determine if a ballad (CITR) or a rocker (possible Prostitute or something else we haven't heard of) is gonna be the first single.

Just a thought

It wouldn't shock me if Riyadh is on the album. Its on the band's list of songs to play, so why bother considering playing a new song that has no chance? Silkworms isn't on the list. Neither is Oh My God. If Madagascar has earned a spot on the record, then Riyadh will probably make it as well.

Yeah, I remember your theory about CITR possibly being the first single, which is why its ignored. A very strong possibility. They wouldn't play the first single and get people burnt out on it before it has been promoted.

I really hope CITR isnt the 1st single. It would be a great 2nd or 3rd single but not 1st. An all out rocker like a Better type song must be the 1st single. Merck if you dont get that done you should be fired.

If Prostitute is an all out rocker, it should be the 1st single.

I recieved an email from Richard today. I must have posted him an email months ago now asking afew questions, and not asking when CD is coming out  Wink

I won't post my whole email here, just a little section and won't post the whole of Richard's email, just a small section  Grin

I hate to use Limp Bizkit as an example, but...

When LB was promoting "Choclate Starfish" they released two singles--I think "Rollin'" and "My Generation," to two different stations. One was more of a rap song, the other more of a rocker.

What if GN'R released "Better" and CITR at the same time?

Although I think the band would be better off releasing "The Blues" and "IRS."

IMO the record company will milk this for all it's worth...let a single drag on then then drop another...instead of hitting us with 2 at once
