Sorry if this is in wrong section - just a heads up to all who are using public transport for the Wembley gigs, the metropolitan line is not running all weekend.  So if you are in centre of town and are using the tube to get to Wembley Park - take the Jubilee line.

hope that helps anyone trying to plan.   ok

Oh, and for those wanting to get home as opposed to sleeping in a park and run the risk of getting robbed, raped or worse, the last tube will be around midnight. nervous

Don't leave early- look up the night buses. You can go anywhere in the city, any time of night using them. Easy, just takes a while!

Just got an email from ticketmaster who have finally realised that the show times they predicted are way too early! Also, they make a note about camera's, looks like Mr Rose isn't happy with all the amateur photographers in the audience... yes

I guess it depends on your definition, I know some guy was asking about how he could get his medium format camera in to Wembley...looks like a point and shoot is all that will be allowed...

I'd consider any "medium format" camera to be a large camera.  Just like I'd consider pretty much any SLR to be a "large camera".  I'm assuming their standards are probably similar.  If it's not small point and shoot, I'd leave it at home.

no probs - I think there are other tube lines down at the weekend now as well (poss Victoria) - so night bus is gonna be the way forward.  wembley is such an arse.  Hopefully as there are lots of people going, anyone by themselves wont have a prob getting where they need to go to get home safe.

Look after each other fellow Gunners!   peace

don't forget night buses run all night, about 2 every hour during the summer, they will take you to almost anywhere in london and suburbs, even if you have to change nightbuses.

if the tubes are still running when the gig finishes - you will need to take the Jubilee line (grey) to Bond Street (the purple line Metropolitan is not working this weekend) and by the time you get there, the central line (red) will prob be shut.  Oxford circus is a very short walk down one road from Bond street though - so you should be ok.  Central line is working this weekend - but the last tubes across all of London are just after midnight (boooo)

if the tubes have finished - and you get a cab - i dont think it would cost you more than ?20.  though there will be nightbuses (think they are only ?1) most likely if you cant get a cab.

Wembley is not far from city centre - but like all place in london - it takes a little time to get there! (approx half an hour from oxford circus to wembley park I reckon on tubes)

hope that helps  x
