No offense to the Europeans but I can't wait for this tour to be over next week so we can get the Guns back on US soil!!

Ok, but I hope the crowd is as good as it ha been over here! I've been to two shows in two countries and it was unbelievable!

axl to crowd 'you guys like my shirt?'
If you can find out, What shirt was it?

It sounds like that it?s just a time to put up at an auction this shirt and to use gathered money on either publishing new CD or charity or ?

OMG!? What an amazing show!!? The band were spot on, no TD's, only one hour late and the place was rockin'. Axl sounded fantastic.? We got home at 12.30 and my son was asleep in the car but for a nine year old he was brilliant, singing to every one of the classics word perfect.? Got some pics, loads of cameras taking shots, I dont think there was any restrictions.? During SCOM you could hardly hear Axl in places the crowd were going mental and singing so load.? Fair play Axl told the security off, even from the seating we could see they were enjoying their job a bit too much.? All my 'new' song favs were played so I was happy.? My son loves 'Used to Love her' and 'Nightrain' his fav songs so he was happy too.? I got about 150 photos so I need to go through and see whats usuable but these are a couple I've looked at that are okay:

the staff were cock suckers.

took bottled water off us, and out tickets and then charged ?5 for our tickets back!!!pisstake.

however, the gig was mind blowingly good, wayy too many instrumentals though, they should cut all robin instrumentals out then it would be ok.

really great gig, what was that cover song they played?

the staff charged ?5 to get your tickets back?HuhHuh?  that is seriously WRONG.  you should complain to the NEC.  that is outrageous.  Pity axl couldnt intervene there as well!  I bet that the venue kept all those extra ?5 for themselves.

I've been to lots of gigs where they take the tickets from you (wembley arena is one) - but they just hand them out afterwards.

sounds like an ace night though!!!   peace

That was a great show!!  My first ever time seeing them and i enjoyed every minute.  Axl was in a great mood and his voice was brilliant and spot on, i was just so glad i was there, I was about 8 rows from the front (standing) and even that was really close as I could see them all perfectly, i took about 80 odd photos, some of them were perfect  hihi
Start posting those pics  ok

That's ridiculous taking any ticket off you for a gig, it's a momento. Especially a souvenir like these UK ones are.
If they're charging you (for personal gain as it would appear) make a complaint, thats terrible.

Show sounded great, lucky things hearing IRS live! Hopefully I'll hear on the full CD tour!

Regarding the tickets, you had to wait right until the end and u could get a ticket free, obviously someone was trying to make a few sly bucks if they were trying to charge you.

Just rememberd Bach was singing IRS (hinting that he wanted them to play it) then must be some joke between, them Axl Started saying 'I ain't saying she's a gold digger, but she aint messing with no broke' lol. Did anyone pick up on that a bit better?   That was the only criticism regarding sound quality, you couldn't make out what he was saying so clearly when speaking.

It's funny, when I went to Hammersmith and stood back a little, I could understand why some people complain about the solos slowing the show down.

However, when I'm front and centre like last night and I'm jumping aroung like a maniac, I was relieved when we got a break - allowed me to get my breath back for more moshing. I'm 25, fit, and healthy and I would have been beat by the time Paradise City came if it hadn't been for the stops.

Suppose it depends on where you're standing/sitting

Exactly, I was at Hammersmith too, about 3rd row and even with the solo breaks I felt just dead by the end from exhaustion- needed the breaks to catch my breath!
