Sounds great.? what did the crowd do when Axl yelled at the security guard?

Cheered, and chanted "Axl, Axl, Axl....."

Quick report as I'm going to bed - Best gig ever, packed out arena, crowd rockin, loads of cheering after new songs as well as old, Axl and band sharing many jokes (good Cartman impression by Axl). ?You can't show me a band better than this. Too much to mention everything, too good, I ended up shirtless, now I'm knackered, over and out.

Thanks for clearing this up. Man all the predictions of this band really "gelling" by the end of the European tour sure is coming true. This band can easly take the world by storm. Now all that is left is continue to put on kick ass shows wihtout any hitches, and release Chinese and Guns N Roses might be at the top of the world again.

That was classic ... Axl was awesome!

He basically said ... "HEY!  The guy was having fun and you're beating him up for it?"  Then basically said "They're OUTTA THERE!" about the security men ... who got escorted out Smiley

lol

Awesome.  The crowd blatantly felt good about what Axl had done, and cheered for him.

I Won't Be Told Anymore

That was amazing, the best GNR show i've seen.  Saw them at Hammersmith and Download already this summer.  So i have seen a total progression.  Axl was really loving it tonight.  Everyone rocked out though. Whilst not alot of the audience knew the new songs they really enjoyed them, they got a good reception.

So pleased to hear Better and IRS and The Blues i love them.

2 points i'd like to make on here just giving an opinion. Slightly off topic but only because my thoughts were reinforced having seen them tonight.  I think people have been way too harsh towards Bumblefoot on these boards.  He's so into it and is a great guitarist, he's won my appriciation.

I don't think much of Robin Finks solo spots.  I've liked Robin Fink even b4 he was in GNR, but nah i have really tried to like them, but doesn't seem to work?  I love Dizzys and Bumblefoots solo spots tho.

Also got quizzed by Kerrang radio on the way out, they were looking for negative responses. Her reactions to how much we enjoyed it was bordering on fucking cheeky lol.  Asked us if his pop at security was staged!? come off it Kerrang!  My mate says it's the best concert he has ever seen and i pretty much agree. Had an awsome time. Long live Axl.

Eh forget Kerang...that is so lame of them to try and force a negative take on people.  I don't feel angry at them.....just sorry for them. .. peace  And how about that Ron Thal.  He's won me over.  I'm so excited about the Wembly Shows cuz they're gonna be sweet and that means GNR are that much closer to touring the U.S. (Northwest US that is>>).  Portland, Oregon and slow gin fizz....if that ain't love than tell me what is.....

What a great night. Cheesy

Arena was sold out and the crowd really happy to see Gnr.
the band performed again at their best with Axl in a very good mood making some jokes. At one point a security guy treated badly a fan, so Axl was really pissed and stopped the concert to shout at the security guy...He even requested him to be removed from the security line in front of him. A really cool incident, that the crowd really liked and made the night more pleasant.

The band performed their usual songs "Including all the solos" and the crowd seemed to enjoy them.

A very early SCOM in the set followed by an axl Jam of a song i don't know.
During patience he received a UK flag from the crowd and he was wearing it.

Sebastian Bach was on My Mchelle and he sang a bit of the IRS at the beggining.
Izzy came as usual making the crowd cheer and the show ended with just I.R.S & Paradise City as encore, probably due to time restrictions.

Overall a great night, with a very happy crowd.

Oh and the usual special visual for you to enjoy Smiley.

You Could Be Mine (w/ the security incident) (Divx)

Fantastic show... I consider myself privileged that I saw GNR some 19 years ago and have followed them ever since even through the hiatus period..

I have to say that last night was phenomenal, and on par with any show that I have ever seen. Axl's voice was on fire. Sebastian's voice coach has worked wonders keeping it going throughout the tour and if anything he's voice has got even better as the tour has progressed. I was discussing Axl's performance on the way home with some other old rockers... hihi ? ? ? We all came to the same conclusion that if there is a better front man out there, we are yet to see him.

In terms of the solo's I must admit that I did find it a little frustrating and a couple of times the show lost a little momentum, In my opinion for what it's worth I would have one of the other guy's try a song on their own. They can obviously sing, the background vocals are great.

This very very personal and slight critism doesn't take away what was an amazing night enjoyed by everyone, despite the warm beer! rant

That was a great show!!  My first ever time seeing them and i enjoyed every minute.  Axl was in a great mood and his voice was brilliant and spot on, i was just so glad i was there, I was about 8 rows from the front (standing) and even that was really close as I could see them all perfectly, i took about 80 odd photos, some of them were perfect  hihi  The atmosphere was great and the venue was better than i expected (and smaller than i imagined).  The crowd were really cool and there was some real friendly people.  The stage displays were superb especially the fireworks.  The crowd went mental during WTTJ and its so easy, i was in the middle of it all! well worth it though.  I was pleased to see izzy and sebastian, they went down really well with the crowd too.  When axl stopped YCBM i thought...shit...if they walk off i'll be disappointed.  They played all the great tracks but i somehow felt there was a lack of new songs, I was disappointed maddy wasnt played as its one of my favourite new tracks, but then again I guess they just didnt have time to play everything.  I was quite disgusted with the staff too as they took our original tickets off us and even bottles of water.  What are we expected to do dehydrate? which is what i almost did, that was the only thing that let down the show for me, i was a little uncomfortable but it was well worth it.  Anyone got any idea who caught axl's whistle and Mic?
