I wish they had left Steven on all the Appetite/Lies live recordings.

2 THINGS--
1. Axl DID NOT rerecord his vocals...How do I know....simple...His singing voice was SHOT around 1999 and there is no way he could have pulled those songs off that well if he redid them..those are the original vocals...listen to the boots from 2001-2002, his voice is shot, he could not have redone the vocals, if he did the songs would sound terrible and high pitched
2-NOBODY KNOWS THE OFFICIAL REOCORDED DATES....it is ALL speculation.......

Wrong, it should be:
"I'm a cold heartbreaker
Fit ta burn and I'll rip

An I'll leave you lyin' on the bed
With your ass in the air!
I'll be out the door before ya wake

But many thanks for your post, it was helpful, and I'm with you on all the tracks...

Uhhhh....Mike, does Catcher In The Rye sound like his voice is shot? How about OMG? A touring voice is different than a studio voice.

Rocket Queen is from 12.06.1991, not 01.25.92 as listed on GNROntour.
Listen to both of 'em back to back n' you'll see what I mean.

4 songs that are untouched are Nightrain, Yesterdays and PC (all vegas 92) And KOHD which is obviously from the freddie mercury tribute.
KOHD is far from "untouched".
Gilby's guitar has been removed, Tracy and Roberta's vocals have been removed except at choice times, and parts of Axl's vocal track have been edited out.
And Axl's vocals on Nightrain sound completely redone.

UTLH was mainly left intact except, as others have already noted, for the last verse or so.
