hey, i am downloading these FLAC files. can someone tell me how i open .FLAC? do i need to download a program like winrar? please help.  i'm confused.  thanks!

The audio part on divx movies is lossy, but converting from one lossy format to another will hurt the audio quality even more.

Sorry to keep contradicting you, but you are not encoding from one lossy format to another. You're basically getting a pseudo-WAV that is actually an mp3, and then reverting it back to its real form.

I made a comparison with an avi music video I had, using one of my programs, and guess what? No difference whatsoever, which of course, only makes sense.....

If the audio on the Divx is mp3 (it could also be Ogg, divx ;-) audio, AC3) then it's fine. I don't know how the mp3 algorithm works but if you rip to mp3, then to wav, then back to mp3 at the same bitrate I don't think you'll lose much quality. But like I said, if the original audio was AC3 for example, the quality on the mp3's will not be as good as the flacs.

I agree, but since it's not the case here, my reasoning still stands, and the term "lossless" is inappropriate.....

thanks dude, when I wanted to download that file, an error ocurred in Megaupload. Luckily, it was a light file!

Now it's working, do not know what happened yesterday.

Some people on this board and others were having problems downloading the Outro.. so i fixed up the link on the first post... if you need it, you can grab that now
