Does anyone else think it would be interesting/good for Velvet Revolver to put the odd Snakepit song into the setlist, nothink constant just the odd show throw one in. What song do you think Scott could pull off, what Snakepit song(s) would you like them to play (From both Era's) ?

So yeah Beggars & Hangers-On would be my choice if Scott could pull it off.

No thanks, there's enough retro with the GNR, STP and assorted cover tunes.

Keep it moving forward.

I always thought some of the guitar work was good on the Snakepit stuff, but the songs clearly missed.

I would hope they would avoid any of this stuff

It'd be cool to hear the best of the solo stuff maybe pulled out at different VR shows, just to mix it up a bit, and give Scott a rest on vocals, let Duff sing a couple of tracks like Attitude and New Rose, that'd rock! ok

Let's keep Duff as far from the mic as possible and any UYI tunes back where they belong..

In 1991.

Why not?  Definately not often, but maybe a couple times a tour... No on ereally would know it but what the hell... "Lower" would be cool... I actually would rather them throw in a random G n' R or STP tune though.. Something that they usually don't play.

Not for me, not a fan of those albums in the least and I'd hate to see VR taking up concert time with songs I don't personally enjoy.

I'm more of a Snakepit fan than a VR fan, but I see no reason to play those (great) songs that only a few guys know. I wish they'd play Attitude with Duff (considering that the setlist will be longer) or some classic GN'R tunes, although I understand that Scott doesn't want to be in a GN'R tribute band.

I don't see any reason why they can't play one or two the very best of whatever they have done.  GNR, STP, Scott's 12 bar blues, Snakepit, Neurotics ect.

VR is a great band and if any songs add to the show then why the fuck not play them?  Change, re-write the ones that need a little tweeking to suit VR. Keep the set lists exciting.  It's all good.

I'd love to hear Slash playing STP's Sex & violence, or Dime store rock or Beggers ect Some great tracks there could be made even better with VR.

Really? so songs like:
-Civil War
-You Could Be Mine
-Locomotive
-Dead Horse/Coma

I don't see how anyone could be a hard-core GN'R fan and not like those songs. That's like saying you love Led Zeppelin but hate Zoso.

It's just personal taste, you can still follow a band closely without losing perspective and objectivity.

Steering back to topic, I wouldn't cringe too hard if VR did Yesterdays....
