The music itself I think just really hit me for the first time just now. I always really liked it, but just now it occured to me how powerful it is for me. I am really faded alright whatever, but its not because of that necessarily. The music is on this level for me now, that is what seems in that timeless zone where few are.

The music, the instrumentation and vocals, really cut deeply and I kind of sat there just saying "wow." Just kicked back in the garage and heard the four demos loudly. Its just really good music. its pure joy and makes all this just that mach happyer (however the fuck you spell that).

I've been thinking the same thing: Timeless.

All the songs are the kind that don't just get old, and don't really age. They have that... I don't know... Timelesss sense about them.

The songs are good when youre high and all but since bud gives you the whole perspective change, it really turned my whole opinion on the band towards the negative side. I enjoy the music and the band itself, but after thinking while blazed, this isn't Guns N' Roses. Flame away...

This is some interesting shit.

"it really turned my whole opinion on the band towards the negative side. I enjoy the music and the band itself, but after thinking while blazed, this isn't Guns N' Roses. Flame away..."

Explain this.  I can't figure out what you are talking about. This doesn't make sense. Seriously dude, explain.

Sorry, what I meant to say is. Before, I was positive and all for the band. Great, Axl is carrying on the GN'R name. However, after thinking about it with some "help", my opinion on the band and what Axl is doing has changed. This isn't Guns N' Roses, regardless of how I feel about the music. I'll still buy the album, I'll still probably enjoy the music. But, this band will never truly be "Guns N' Roses".

Buddha, I totally get what you're saying, and Im not just saying that for the sake of agreeance...

It was 93 degrees here in Eastern Ontario this weekend, so obviously I went to the beach with the ol' ghetto blaster, and my "Chinese Democracy Sessions" CD, containing all 10 songs we've heard from the new boys so far...

Obviously the hardcore tracks like Better, IRS, and TWAT recieved the most airplay, but I tell you man, just looking out into those waves under that merciless sun with Axl's bitchin' vocals and Bucket's roaring guitar, along with the occasional spliff was calming beyond calming.

These are only demos yet, it's the some of the greatest shit since sliced bread peace

The more you think about it, a perfectionist like Axl wouldn't even be outside the studio if the album wasn't already done...

Knowing him, he's already had a promotions team on this fucker since he came out of his cave in January... ok

Just enjoy the wicked summer time weather everyone, because it'll be a "Chinese" Fall hihi

I know the whole history of the band but can you honestly say that lineup is what turned you on to Guns? I love this band, don't get me wrong. And I mean band whole-heartedly, I hate when people call it Axl and his hired guns. I just don't think they should be called Guns N' Roses, not really as an insult to the band but it doesn't seem fair to this band to have to live up to that, or replace that. They deserve something better, something new.

Let's not turn this into a dead horse topic, guys.  The "Axl should change the name" thing has been beaten to death about a thousand times by now.
