We'll see....that first soundcheck will be crucial.....ESPECIALLY if we want to hear Catcher In The Rye.

The only rumours I've heard are what are being started here. And I don't get why people are so sure he might get up and do a song with GnR.
He played on CITR, Yeah so? Alot of people have made guess appearances it doesn't mean they are going to make a guest appearance live.

And when people have posted setlists from the show (the piece of paper I mean what the band go from) CITR isn't even on it. Rhyiad is even on the list but CITR isn't.Also just because it leaks means nothink, it doesn't mean it's going to be played live it doesn't mean it;s gonig to be on CD, it just means a demo of a old song leaked.

You do know that Brian May said on his website that he was already supposed to do a number with GNR early June in Hammersmith, but didn't because he missed the soundcheck?

But do you believe or did he actually say it was going to be to perform CITR?

Brian May has confirmed he was going to play at Hammersmith but missed the soundcheck. He never said what song(s) they were going to play together though. Hasn't Richard already said CITR won't be played whilst the band are in Europe? I'm pretty confident Brian May will show up at some point during the UK tour, but I don't think CITR will be played.

Well, yes. Considering Fortus said it wouldnt be played, Thal said it wasnt amongst the songs he rehearsed and it wasnt on that setlist someone posted a pic of.

They aren't going to create a huge moment of BM coming on stage and then kill it by playing a song only 10 people in the audience know.

Why not?

I don't think anybody in Wembley Stadium in 1991 had ever heard 'Perfect Crime' and they opened with it!

What would be wrong with Brian coming on, playing CITR and then ripping into something like 'Tie Your Mother Down'?

Brian May played on more songs than just "Catcher in the Rye". I don't think that "Catcher in the Rye" will be on CD anyway.

Catcher is unlikely as they don't seem to be ready to perform the song.

If Brian May is making an appearance, which is likely, maybe he'll jam on the blues.
And songs like ...say "We are the champion"?

Axl's rather more conservative with setlists these days for one thing.

There's nothing wrong with it, but it just won't happen. Didn't Axl even say that BM's parts probably won't even be on the final version of CITR.

I am quite positive that Brian will play the London show as planned originally, but im pretty damn sure it will not be a guns song but most likely Rock You (fast version) or tie your mother down.. It rarely changes when appearing as a guest.
