It's 1.30am in Spain now; should be coming towards the end of the set if they started at midnight. Though speculating is pointless- I'm sure somebody will give us a review tomorrow at some point.

from Rocket69..a poster at mygnr.com

GN'R arrived to the stage at 23.20 (was scheduled at 22.00)

Welcome to the jungle
It's so easy
Mr Brownstone
(The band starts playing Aerosmith's "Mama Kin" but they stop after a few seconds)
Live and let die
----------------
Robin Solo
Sweet child o'mine
Knocking on heavens door
Better
You Could be Mine
----------------
Dizzy Solo (David Bowie's "Spiders from Mars" cover)
The Blues
---------------
Fortus Solo (Christina Aguilera's "Beautiful" cover with Robin)
Outta get me
November Rain
-----------------
Bumblefoot solo (Don't cry)
My michelle
-----------------
with Izzy Stradlin on the stage:
You have to move (blues classic cover)
Think about you
Patience
Nightrain
-------------------
-------------------
IRS
Madagascar
Robin Solo
Paradise City (with Izzy)

The show finished at 1.35 (The band played for 2 hours and 15 minutes)

---------------------------------------------

Incredible show, much better than in Madrid or Lisbon. More than 20.000 people at the Bilbao Live Festival (other bands: Heavy Thrash, The Cult, Ben Harper, Blue Oyster Cult, Deftones, Mando Diao, Placebo and Fun Lovin' Criminals) to see GN'R gig. The second day of the festival was sold out due to GN'R show. Axl talked a lot with the band on stage and also with the audience.

I've to sleep because I only have sleep three hours in the last two days due to Bilbao Live Festival, rock n' roll and Guns N' Roses.

Question - has Brain returned, or is Frank still playing for him?

it's still Frank...

my guess is that Frank is going to finish the euro tour with them? 8 shows left.. think they'll fly Brain for the last couple shows? as long as franks doing his job right..

i want brain back though.. he absolutely rocks!

I could careless if Brain ever returns.   He could go back with Buckethead for all I care . Frank  is doing a good job and I like him better.  If only they  could get Izzy to join permanantly and get rid of Finck .

on Topic: another Izzy show. just yesterday i was against it, but i kind of feel good about it now. its cool to have him back peace

This may be the best setlist of the whole tour so far - I'd love to hear them cover "You Gotta Move!"

I agree guys.  He doesn't show any interest in the band anyway.  Who cares if he comes back.  Sounds like this Frank guy is good.  And the rotating of band members continuous.

You Gotta Move isn't a Stones tune - they did it, but its an old blues song. Everyone has covered it - Stones/Zeppelin/Aerosmith/Nugent (I think)
