what the hell do i do ?

hey folks, i'm really behind the times on computers and am only able to download the stuff that is one track at a time on rapishare, megaplaud, sendspace or yousendit. how do i download these rar files i've been seeing. basically anything that is bigger like some of these zipped or torrents, i really want in. if anyone can shed some light on how i go about downloading the appropriate software or whatever, i would be very grateful. thank you, rose22

if you're using Total Commander to organize your files, it can handle both ZIP and RAR archives, except for last version of RAR ones which can be opened only with WinRAR program. so download WinRAR and you're done. just open the archive with the program, select Extract files and select destination. done.
