I Won't Be Told Anymore

« on: July 11, 2006, 10:20:01 AM »

Sorry of this is the wrong place to discuss this but i wasn't sure.

Just wondering where 'Just another Sunday' originates from? Is it rumoured to be on CD or is it an old demo? I'd Never heard it until recently. But it's got to be the worst song that Axl's put his voice too lol, don't like it at all.  Can't see where he was trying to go with that one really? It's the worst of the 'new' demo's that i have heard imo.

Better, IRS, Catcher and Twat are absoloute class, Love them.  Better for first single?  I wreckon so ok

It's not a "new" demo. This song was recorded somewhere between 1986 and 1987 during the Appetite sessions.

its an old demo not going to be on CD as far as I know .

it isnt great or really even good but is kinda cool i like axl's vice on it alot

too much too soon is another old demo that would be pretty cool if it cut out before the last 2 mnutes or so when axl keeps saying tooo much too soon

This was recorded durring the Illusions sessions

This is a weird song, unlike most GNR stuff.. but its pretty catchy and I've grown to like it. I listen to it every few days.

Mike, he's been here since '02.

Nah i've been visiting on and off for ages.  I knew the title had been kicking about for while. But Only recently I've heard it. I've never really bothered with the demo's side fo things. And i received a demo disc off someone who named the disc 'Chinese Democracy demos' so it had everything mixed in. Some of it i'd guessed was just old stuff.  And I just wondered if 'Just another sunday' had been mentioned as a CD maybe. cheers for the replys tho.

Your wrong. I already have this song on cassette since 1989. A guy i knew recorded it on cassette for me from a bootleg vinyl named 2nd take demo's. Actually, all the songs on the Unwanted illusions bootleg (Crash diet,Bring it back home,Sentimental movie,Too much too soon,...) are recorded during the same session as Just another sunday somewhere between 1986 and 1987.

It isn't a drum program. It's more like a electronic drum. G N' R used this instrument on several demo songs such as Bring it back home,Sentimental movie,Bad obsession,Just another sunday,... There is a backstage footage in the documentary A night at the jungle where Steven Adler is playin' the electronic drums.
