Here's an article from 6.06.06 at buddyhead.com (http://www.buddyhead.com/gossip/).  It should keep you guys arguing at least until the next show:

So, ?Guns N? Roses? has started playing shows again. This time instead of some goofball who likes to ?binge? on porn with a chicken bucket on his head, they?ve got some dorkus on ?lead guitar? who looks like that guy who?s always trying to push that neon pink 7 string Washburn axe at Guitar Center on you every time you set foot in the place? ?Bubblebutt? or something. Homeboy actually plays a ?Stryper? guitar that?s shaped liked a foot! The fucked up part is that this dude isn?t even half as jive as Robin Finck, who looks and dresses like Ian Anderson from Jethro Tull circa 1972 now. Full on weird beard, 311 hemp necklaces, renaissance era vest, earthdog style action happening. At least Axl left the football jerseys at home this time, but dude is still paranoid about people finding out he has hair plugs, so he?s stickin? with those shitty wigger braids. To make things weirder, Izzy fuckin? Stradlin decided to somewhat legitimize the whole thing by appearing with the band in New York doing some of the old songs. We heard Izzy has been hanging out in Malibu, doing yoga, and getting zen. Izzy, let?s fuckin? hang out! We?re totally into ?downward facing dog? and The Stooges too bro, call us. Oh, and you?re on the guest list for the Nine Inch Nails/Bauhaus/Peaches show on July 7th in Irvine. Don?t flake asspro. Anywhoo? also, now that dude ?Brain-dead? or whoever they have from Primus that plays drums right now? he told the band?s management months ago not to book shows for this one month, cos his wife was having a baby then, and he needed the time off. They booked shows anyway, so homeboy said, ?I?m not doin? em?, so now the knuckleheads hafta find a new drummer too. Hey Axl, CALL FUCKIN? POPCORN MAN! Dude still has it! We saw him freak it out at Paladino?s in the valley and not only did he never break his smile, but he was slaying! Hey Axl? DO IT!

And what?s with this rumor that Slash wanted to play for Stone Roses back when John Squire quit the group after ?Second Coming?? Ian Brown says he wasn?t into it then, but now he thinks it would have sounded great! Yeah, no shit limey! Slash coulda busted into ?The Godfather Theme? whenever people were too bummed on hearing you sing outta key. Dudes on Ecstacy playing with snakes? shit woulda gone offfff. Oh well.

...Oh yeah, they also reviewed Izzy's latest CD on the 20 best albums of 2005 list.  Apparently the guys who run the site (including Aaron North from NIN) are GN'R fans.

Nothing like a rock critic who thinks he matters. This sounds more like a poster than a journalist.

I would just like to say now before everyone gets all pissy that if you take this article seriously or get offended and bent out of shape then you suck at life and need to give up the internet right now.

These guys aren't journalists.  The website is the project of photographer Travis Keller and musician Aaron North (Nine Inch Nails, The Icarus Line).  Other people who have contributed to the site include Josh Homme (Queens of the Stone Age), Duane Denison (The Jesus Lizard, Tomahawk), Maynard Keenan (Tool, A Perfect Circle), John Stanier (Helmet), Dimitri Coats (Burning Brides), Blake Miller (Moving Units), Ikey Owens (The Mars Volta, Defacto), Tom Apostolopoulos (The Dillinger Escape Plan), and many more.  A lot of the opinions featured are very blunt and one-sided.  But, hey, it's a very funny site and you might learn a thing or two about music.  Oh yeah, they are also infamous for posting shitty celebrities' cell phone numbers.  For instance:

"Call up Dave, who plays guitar in Papa Roach at (916) 390-5627 and tell him it?d be a lot cooler if they would have named their shitty rap-metal band 'Papa Boner'."

or...

"Call Danny Masterson and tell him he?s a triple threat! Shitty actor / radio show host poser / douchedrinker. (323) 864-0629."

Buddyhead owns. I prefer that site to Metal Sludge at this point. Their old rating system was great - they rated CDs by what Axl would think!

What is there to argue about? ? Some guy wants to rip on Gn'R. ?Oh boy, that's new. ? ?There are no actual legitimate points or arguments being made, he's just ripping on people for the sake of ripping on them.

Haha, exactly... that's what's great about the stie.  Well really just Axl, Robin, Bumblefoot, and Brain.  If you read the quote, they're fans of Izzy, Steven, and Slash.

Here's their review of Izzy's latest album:

Izzy Stradlin
Like A Dog
While every redneck Guns N? Roses fan with a Chevrolet and Axl Rose tattoo sits on their hands waiting for the first real Gn?R album since ?Use Your Illusions?, Izzy Stradlin is on his sixth solo album since quitting the band. Admittedly, ?Like A Dog? probably isn?t one of the absolute greatest albums that quietly came out this year, but we?ll use this entry as more of a ?lifetime achievement? award for the dude possibly more responsible for the classic Guns N? Roses sound than any other member. Izzy was always the coolest dude in the band, wrote all the best songs, danced the hardest with Mr. Brownstone, and jumped off the sinking ship before dudes ended up playing shows in hockey jerseys with corn-rolls or formed bands with Scott Weiland. Every Izzy solo record has a bunch of solid jams and is worth checking out. Plus he fuckin shreds it up skating!
