Lol beat me to it. No, Guns should leave the Doors well alone. I dont want to hear or see them do any more cover songs ever. Especially by a band as magnificant as the Doors. Saying that though, VR did a great rendition of Five to One. |

The band was having fun on stage and Axl suddenly started humming that song, so the crowd reacted by singing along to it and Axl went on singing it...
It's not like they were practising the song for 3 months just to play it for the Greek crowd, even though it felt kinda special...

I think they should do whatever covers "live" they want. There is no need to put them on record. I think they should do a cover of "Mr. Brightside" by the Killers live. The irony of Axl singing "I'm Mr. Brightside" would be great.

I hope that there wont be any cover songs on CD.. maybe as a b-side or something though. And I truly agree with alternativemonkey, they should play more covers live  Not like 3 in every concert + KOHD / LALD, but when/if they feel like covering, why not.. I think it's cool to hear some other stuff sometimes  |
