I think they should do whatever covers "live" they want. There is no need to put them on record.  I think they should do a cover of "Mr. Brightside" by the Killers live. The irony of Axl singing "I'm Mr. Brightside" would be great.

hahaha i like that idea.. lol hihi

that would be funny, if he all of a sudden would cover a "modern" song.. it would feel strange but would be something to talk about uh?

My least favorite , and the most overplayed Doors song in history. I would cringe if they started playing that song at concerts. I still am not crazy about Live & Let Die, but it's better than what would be  a cover of this song. Sorry to rain on the parade peace

I'm a massive Doors fan, I love them on an equal level to GnR, but although I would have loved to have been there to hear the off the cuff rendition of Light My Fire tonight, given the choice, I too would not want them to cover that out of all the Doors songs available.

I find it strange and not too pleasing that the only Doors songs that are constantly covered are Light My Fire and Break on Through, and yet, they are a couple of their weakest, for me. Still class songs, but there are better!  In my opinion anyway...

G&R covered 'The Monkees - Last Train To Clarksville' during the jam at the second Norwegian song.

Sebastian Bach is really influencing with his monkey buisness...

Judas Priest- Painkiller

That would be the song I picked them to do... dl the original and imagine gnr 2002 playing that with BH on those solos.

that would be awesome!
but if they did a judas priest cover, i'd rather hear them play "Sinner."
it kinda has an early gnr feel to it

Peace Frog.....It's singular, not plural. There's only one peace frog.

That is all.

Saying that though, VR did a great rendition of Five to One.

Really? When? Just live or is it a B-side?

It was live - Dont know when or where, just got it off Limewire!! Pretty good version as well.

As for Guns, they should never ever be allowed to do a Doors cover.
