Wearing a kilt might very much create some buzz . . . but come on people! . . . Axl's not an organ grinder's monkey . . . dress him up as you feel fit . . . "Axl will you please wear the headband . . . wear a kilt".  Get real! I would be more concerned with the sound of the band than what they look like.

I remember reading a story about Pete Townshend circa 1975. All people in the front row would yell was "jump, Pete, jump", "do the windmill". All people wanted was to see was Pete replicate the aerobatic jumps of his youth. He found it depressing and somewhat humiliating. I think Axl must be thinking the same.

I think I understand where hes coming from. Being Australian I know about misinformed national "icons". Wouldnt go over well in Sydney if a band turned up in akubras and did a whole "dingo ate my baby" routine

Axl wearing a kilt, kimono, beret...I could care less.  As long as the band is jamming, that's all that matters.
