i was really disappointed to see dana go home. she's better than the other chick in the bottom 2 (patrice??), and much mroe interesting.

I, too, would have sent Patrice packing last night (well, actually, I would have sent Z-bitch packing last night if I'd had carte' blanche, but of the bottom 3....).

Jill saved herself with a killer performance.

So it would come down to Dana and Patrice.  Dana has gotten better every week.  Was there room for improvement? Sure there was...lots.  But Patrice said it herself: If you can't get up there in front of the band, you shouldn't be there.  And she got up, with Tommy, and still hit the bottom 3.  To me....that means she should go, and Dana should get to stay and keep improving.

Of course, the bottom line is: None of those 3 ladies have, IMHO, a remote chance at fronting this band, anyway...so I guess in the long run it doesn't much matter which of the 3 went, since they'll all likely go eventually.

Next week is going to be interesting.....they're going to write lyrics and melodies for a new track.  Is that what they're going to be performing, too?  I'd assume they are...which will be good TV, I think.  I'd guess some good stuff and some train wrecks.

i actually think dana is really cute. i have a thing for that southern charm. 

sure, she's somewhat of a poser. she was trying to become what they wanted. can't blame her for that. she's only 22 and still trying to discover her true identity (which may actually be a hard rock chick).

patrice is a TOTAL poser. and she's in her 30's so it's really pathetic. and she's not even good at acting like a hard rocker - it really comes off as fake. and she can't sing.

You know, I don't disagree with you.  Like I said...none of the bottom 3 had a shot in hell.  But, based on just this week, I would have sent Patrice home and kept Dana around a bit longer.  I'm not exactly sorry to see her go, I just think she deserved to stay THIS week.

On your list...I would agree Dilana, Lucas, and Magni have been excellent.  I'd add Storm Large to that group and I think you have the top contenders.

hilarious! she's a train wreck.

but i hope she stays around a couple more weeks. seeing what she's gonna do each week is much more interesting than watching some of the other shitty singers/performers on that show.

i still crack up when they say these are the best singers they could find.

even american idol found better rockers than the guys on this show.

Zayida did deserve to go home the other day ... she couldnt keep a hight note but i was surprised that patrice didnt go she was awful and she kinda faded into the background with tommy behind her...... and lastly dana shouldnt have went home she did keep getting better and better.... her about a girl performance and baba o reily performance was awsome ... do they really want a woman singer though ... i doknow ommy wouldnt mind lol he wants to fuck every female there lol....

Last night was much the same.

Those that were good every week were very, very good last night.

those that are mediocre ever week were very, very mediocre.

And z-bitch was, once again, god awful....it sounded like 2 cats fucking.  God, I hope she goes home tonight...though Jill and Patrice weren't exactly wonderful, either.

Dilana was my fav, followed by Lukas and then Storm.

I have to agree with you there on Lukas, he nailed it hard as did Dilana, damn she is awesome...although I think Ryan isn't a good fit he really has been surprising me the last two preformances. My money is on Dilana
