i don't watch american idol but i am always astounded when people who consider themselves rockers would sign up for being the production team's bitch. that is basically what this is, with a pretense of 'rock star'. rock stars aren't found, they're made.

I thought Supernova was awesome. Its like they melded all my favorite bands together. I've been a huge fan of Jason N. for ages and couldn't be happier he's finally got some props.
I thought a couple of the chicks were good- but most of them were weak and sucked. It could have also been the choice of song...

You know something all these guys are proven they don't need to follow any rock n roll metal rules.. I think it's great these guys get out and have some fun...  I mean gilby jason and tommy is more for fun then anything.. I missed the episode last night, but I've seen the blonde girl, Jill, sing with Trans Siberian Orchestra for quite a few years now. She can handle singing with a rock band and in front of large audiences. Since I missed the show I dont know how she did though .

I liked the guy who sang "Yellow" by Coldplay best-the girl who sang the Nirvana song-the band seemed to like her the most, which worries me-I didn't like her-was there anyone over the age of 25 here? Obviously they want someone "pretty", which sucks-will be fun to watch cuz of who is involved, but I doubt they will find the next Marilyn Manson, like Tommy Lee says. I love Gilby, can't blame him for doing it-it beats playing in clubs for 100 people-it's national TV
